Not able to update my Garmin GPS Unit? Help me!

In the middle of driving, my Garmin GPS unit is not showing the right signals. I am staying on the way because of Garmin GPS unit stopped working. When I ask for showing the signals for the right path, it shows some issues, which I have never experienced in my life. I guess that it can be a problem of update Garmin GPS unit. Certainly, it has become a big technical hurdle for me. As per my technical skill, I am attempting to update Garmin GPS unit. Can you help me for updating my GPS Unit?
