Another racer in our club sent me his GPS file from Saturday. I uploaded on my profile and now it looks like his boat has merged with my boat… (but with his data)… Is that what happened?
the raceQs is created as a personal journal and assumes one track per user per day. This means if you have several partial tracks (the phone went out of juice but you had a GPS running on the boat) you can upload it and the tracks will be “joined together”.
It is fairly common when a fleet member is trying to upload other people’s tracks for the benefit of the fleet. Please create a separate account for each uploaded boat using the name and email of the real track owner if you have one.
