Once the replay starts streaming (there is a slightly delay to encourage fair competition), the event will appear in the Journal. So, if your friend looks about five minutes after you start streaming, they will be able to open the replay and watch it “live”.
Please remember that the replays are based in Google Earth, which is part of what keeps them free. Google Earth does not work on tablets or mobile devices, so you must view the replay on a computer.
