The video and GPS are not matching up, so my action video looks out of sync with the GPS replay. How do I fix this?
As long as the GPS track and the footage were recorded on the same day, you can sync them by adjusting the time “offset” in the raceQs replay settings. Find your “offset” by calculating the time difference between the replay time stamp, and the action camera footage time stamp.

How do I share my GeoVids™ replay with other people?
In the beta version, the raceQs replay engine uses the hard copy of the video stored on your hard drive to create GeoVids™. The only way to share GeoVids™ is by using a “screencast” program to record your screen, like CamStudio http://camstudio.org. To share, upload the saved screencast to youtube.

I have an old action video that I would like to synchronize. Can I do that?
You can sync an old video with a GPS track from your regular boat GPS, as long as both were recorded on the same day. Manually upload the GPS track to your raceQs account, and then follow the beta user instructions to upload the video. As always, for the raceQs replay engine to find your video, the time and date must have been properly set on your camera when you recorded your footage.

Will this work on my iPad or my Mac?
The beta version of this software only works on Windows and Mac computers. It doesn't work on tablets or phones.

What’s the best way to set the date/time on my camera so that it will sync correctly in GeoVids™?
Cameras enabled with GPS or smart phone capabilities will have accurate date/time stamps and should automatically sync.
For other cameras, you have to set the date/time manually. An easy way to make sure you have the correct time is to start your action camera footage by filming the time displayed on your phone, including seconds.
t’s difficult to get a manual time accurate enough for GeoVids™. That's why we have the time offset function built into the GeoVids™ replay engine
When you upload the footage to GeoVids™, compare the time stamp your camera recorded to the replay GPS time. If the timestamps are not the same, calculate the difference and enter the correction into the “offset” function in the replay settings. Your GeoVid will now be synced.
