No display

Yesterday when I tried to view a race with Internet Explorer I only got the spinning boat screen continuously. Today it goes straight to an almost blank race screen showing some of the controls but no boats or background. I can still view the race using Chrome but it doesn’t give me the panel on the right where you view all the data and setup regattas, etc. Firefox is behaving similar to IE. I don’t usually use Chrome or Firefox because the controls don’t work properly in these browsers. I’m running Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit, IE 11.0.9600.17498, Java 7.0.710.14, Shockwave 16.0.0.235. Any suggestions?
