I didn’t calibrate my phone for roll angle before the racing. Now the wind direction and all the tacks are wrong. Can I normalise the angle after the fact? i.e. can I change the angle of the already recorded race someway?
Calibration of Roll / Pitch will not impact the wind detection. Yes you can adjust the wind direction in the replay by double clicking on the corresponding leg in the Race Course box in the set up tab. Typically you will need to adjust the wind on the start line and the application will take care of the rest.
Also you will need to create a new Windward Mark any time the prior one changed it’s location (RC move it to adjust for the wind shift). Don’t drug the original mark it will destroy the replay.
Many thanks for that. I will adjust the wind. However, the calculations don’t seem to be recognising the tacks and gybes. Is this to do with the roll angle and can I reset that?
